YORK COMMON IFR ROOM 1976
Mr. Scolnick's service at the NYCIFRR began in 1969 and continued until 1978 when he transferred
to Harrisburg Tower, Pa. as a line supervisor. He was fully certified in the JFK sector and partially certified in Newark
and Laguardia sectors. He also worked as a staff specialist. He returned to the NY TRACON in 1982 for a short period and was
fully certified in the Islip sector. Mr Scolnick has also been operationally certified at Cleveland ARTCC, Cleveland Tower,
Harrisburg and Allentown Tracons, and Lancaster and Capital City Towers. He retired from the FAA and active air traffic control
duties May 2004.
